Select a passage from the play and comment thoroughly & specifically on Shakespeare's use of language and how it ties into the play as a whole.
Can Macbeth suppress his tormented thoughts? How or how not? How will Macbeth's regime be different from/similar to Duncan's?
Discuss the presence of concepts presented in the "Great Chain of Being" in this play. Focus on the notion of a world out of order, of the cosmic consequences of Macbeth's actions.
